Artist Statement
 
 I enjoy observing in that in-between frequency, experiencing many motions and colors.  I try to get a glimpse of what truly emerges.

These glimpses inspire me to paint. 


Biography

Koval Grippo apprenticed with various artist and worked for a variety of designers, expanding the boundaries to include stage design, photography and video, jewelry design, couture and interior design industry.  While working as a young painter, in New York City and Washington D.C., Koval was awarded the District of Columbia Arts and Humanities Commission Visual Arts Grant, which allowed Koval to pursue dreams of creating abstract art.
Koval Grippo’s artwork has appeared in solo and group shows, building lobbies, film and video productions, and theatrical performances.  Koval Grippo’s paintings and photographs have been exhibited in venues across the United States and Canada.  The artist currently creates in both New York City and San Francisco.
